Bassnectar NYE 2013 Recap (Video)

We are all connected...

Well, our Break On A Cloud produced Bassnectar NYE 2013 Recap video was officially released a few weeks ago; but per usual, I am just now getting around to making a blog post about it, haha. Watch and read below:)

It's really hard to put into words how amazing of an experience it was working on this project from start to finish. We spent a total of 3 full days shooting footage and time-lapses in and around Nashville's Bridgestone Arena and the Downtown Nashville area to document all the hard work that goes in to building a production of this magnitude. On the day of the show, we had a 4-5 person camera crew and 6 cameras capturing every little facet of this spectacular event from every angle possible..the night was a huge success! 

Lorin (Bassnectar) absolutely blew the roof off the place that night! Surrounded by some odd 11,000 fans going completely nuts, his setup for the evening incorporated a 360 degree rotating stage setup in the smack dab in the middle of the arena accompanied by some of the most amazing sound and lighting production I have ever witnessed. It was hands down, one of the our most memorable NYE experiences to date! Definitely the craziest show I have ever helped document, even more so than last year's Bassnectar NYE show (which was also insane).

The feedback has been great so far...the video is sitting at around 30k views right now on Bassnectar's YouTube Channel, with a lot of great comments and joyous fans reminiscing about this magical night. It really makes me feel good to know that our work has created a permanent visual memory of this experience that fans can revert to whenever they want to escape back to that time and place. We had such a blast documenting this incredible event and putting these visuals together for everyone to see...can't thank everyone enough for making this such an amazing NYE experience once again!!

Video (Update and Notes): The Ambassador Program at Bassnectar NYE Nashville 2012

Hello::
It is amazing to me that we're already 8 days into March 2012..man, how the time flies. It's also crazy that I haven't made a post on here since January (2 months)!! Embarrassing as it may be, it is in no reason due to lack of working projects; quite the contrary in fact...these first 2 months of 2012 have brought with them some amazing opportunities and experiences...from the aforementioned Bassnectar NYE video coverage to my Mexico journey and wedding shoot for two of my great friends, to shooting amazing shows pretty much on a weekly basis with my cohorts over at Break On a Cloud here in Nashville...2012 is shaping up to be an exciting and extremely busy year! Unfortunately, I've been a bit overwhelmed with all the work I have piling up lately, so haven't really had any chance to post on here, but I am sorting my way through everything and will be recapping all the activities here in the coming weeks. You probably already know what's up though if you follow me on facebook!

First order of business:

Here is "The Ambassador Program at Bassnectar NYE Nashville 2012" documentary that we (the Break On A Cloud team) put together to highlight the Ambassador activities at Bassnectar's NYE 2012 performance at the Bridgestone Arena here in Nashville. It was the biggest party in town and one of the most amazing experiences of my life! Here is the skinny from Rob over at Breakonacloud.com:
